Magical atmospheres in a Christmas setting | Archiverde

Christmas atmospheres

With the Christmas holidays just around the corner, we would like to present to you one of Archiverde’s latest works: the design of a park with an enchanted, fairy-tale atmosphere.

We are in Gallarate, at the foot of the Crenna hill, where a minimalist, pure-line 1970s villa is transformed into a magical setting, with no less than 3.5 kilometres of yellow lights decorating the property’s garden.

However, this was only the beginning of a long redevelopment project that lasted a year and a half. In fact, the villa’s park had become overgrown and Archiverde enthusiastically took up the challenge of restoring it, removing the weeds and redesigning the tree parts.

Value to sustainability

In line with its values, which are communicated in every project, Archiverde also wanted to make a positive ecological impact. For the external paving, new-generation materials were used that are able to absorb Co2. Water purification is also cutting-edge and is carried out by electrolysis using sea salt.

An eye for the aesthetic and artistic side is also never lacking. White is the predominant colour, creating continuity with the interior. Therefore, cyclic blooms, including winter ones, such as hydrangeas, azaleas and hellebores, have been chosen, which give brightness in an essential and elegant style.

Finally, a staircase was created with LED light bars which give the impression of being suspended in space.

Dreamlike sensations, which will continue even at the end of the Christmas period.
